Ceviz — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026

Ceviz collects no personal data. We operate no servers that receive your content. Your voice commands and results travel between your own devices and a backend you run on your own machine.

What the app sends, and where

When you record a voice command on your Apple Watch, the audio is passed to your paired iPhone and forwarded to the backend you configured — a server you run on your own machine, reachable only over your own private network. Your voice recordings, transcripts, job results and reports stay between your devices and that machine. They are never sent to Basar Labs.

Speech recognition

By default, speech is transcribed locally on your own machine. A third-party speech service is used only if you explicitly configure one with your own API key. That choice, and any data it involves, is yours to make and control.

What is stored on your device

Neither value is transmitted anywhere except to the backend you configured.

Permissions

Analytics and tracking

The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not profile you and we do not share data with third parties, because we do not receive any.

Demo Mode

With no backend configured, the app runs in Demo Mode: it shows built-in sample data and makes no network requests for content.

Children

Ceviz is a developer tool and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
